Spectrum Works | A Job Fair for those living with Autism Spectrum Disorder | April 20, 2018
SPECTRUM WORKS – Harness the Talent
In support of Autism Awareness month, we (Help By Helping) created the first ever job fair with some of Canada’s top employers interacting with people living with ASD in 2017. Now in our second year, we aim to continue breaking the stigmas associated with people living with ASD, that they are unable to be a contributing member in the workforce. When given the opportunity, individuals can do a wonderful job. Which is why we are taking a proactive approach in pairing employers with employees.
Friday, April 20th, 2018 11am to 3pm
Metro Hall – Rotunda 55 John Street Toronto, ON M5V 3C6
This 4-hour job fair will include:
*Appearance by local politicians
*Local celebrity host to greet attendees
*Complimentary food and drinks from corporate sponsors
*Employers looking to hire people with Autism
*Job skill workshops, resume/employment consulting and on-site job interview
This event is open to everyone looking to learn about Autism, friends, family members and most importantly, this event is meant for people with Autism who are looking to use their strengths to gain employment and join the workforce!
